Red Hot Chili Peppers Tour 2024, a Night of Punk-Funk-Rock

In 2024, the Red Hot Chili Peppers will make a comeback to Upstate New York. One of the recently revealed RHCP tour dates is a performance on July 12 at the Darien Lake Amphitheater, which is close to Buffalo.

At 7 p.m., special guests Wand and IRONTOM will kick off the performance. Tickets start at $78.25 for the lawn and go on sale through Live Nation on Friday, December 8, at 10 a.m.

The extended Unlimited Love tour by Red Hot Chili Peppers, which made a stop at Syracuse’s JMA Wireless Dome earlier this year, includes the performance.

The punk-funk-rock group mixed hits like “Can Not Stop,” “Give It Away,” “Californication,” “Scar Tissue,” and “Snow (Hey Oh)” with new material from their “Unlimited Love” and “Return of the Dream Canteen” albums.

The concert, which was RHCP’s first in Syracuse in thirty years, drew about 35,000 fans, so Darien Lake tickets are likely to sell out quickly.

For tickets, fans might want to check resellers like SeatGeek, TicketNetwork, Megaseats, StubHub, and VividSeats.

Drummer Chad Smith, guitarist John Frusciante, bassist Flea, and singer Anthony Kiedis make up the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame group.

Opening acts on select dates next year include Kid Cudi, Ice Cube, Ken Carson, Otoboke Beaver, and Seun Kuti & Egypt80.

Fans of the Chili Peppers can anticipate hearing newer tracks like their No. 1 single “Black Summer” in addition to timeless hits like “Californication,” “Can not Stop,” and “Under the Bridge.”

Countdown to RHCP

Red Hot Chili Peppers stand out as the first rock band to accomplish the feat in 17 years as a result of their two album releases from last year reaching number one on the charts.

Furthermore, according to a LiveNation release, Return of the Dream Canteen debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top Album Sales Chart, exactly like its predecessor Unlimited Love did in April 2022.

Over the past few decades, RHCP has received numerous honors; the most recent one was the Global Icon Award from the MTV VMAs in 2022.

They are the ones with the most number-one hits, the most weeks spent at the highest point of the board charts, and the most top-ten melodies in general.

They have won six Grammy Awards, as well as induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2012 and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2022.
