MNEK – ‘Tongue’

Singer-songwriter extraordinaire MNEK is best known for his smash hit ‘Never Forget You’ featuring Zara Larsson. He has also penned and produced hits for the likes of Dua Lipa, Stormzy, Jax Jones, Craig David, Little Mix and Beyoncé. However, on Friday, MNEK dropped his infectious new single ‘Tongue’ which shows that we can expect him to take a new direction with his forthcoming solo material. Speaking to The Fader about ‘Tongue’, MNEK said: “It’s fun, it’s sexy, and it’s different to anything I’ve put out before. It is an indication of me taking risks with my new music.”

George Ezra – ‘Pretty Shining People’

‘Pretty Shining People’ is the latest track to be taken from George Ezra’s forthcoming sophomore album, Staying at Tamara’s. The track follows the album’s lead single, ‘Paradise’. ‘Pretty Shining People’ has been teamed up with a hilarious lyric video which sees George perform the track at a karaoke session in an empty working men’s club.

Grace Savage – ‘Headlights’

‘Headlights’ is the new single from UK artist Grace Savage. The track is full of rich electronic production which showcases Grace’s vocal diversity, with a breezy pop melody led by the singer’s uniquely ethereal tones and emotive lyrics to create a soothing masterpiece. Grace will be bringing her talent to Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen on March 16, before performing a headline show at Sebright Arms on May 27.

Nuela Charles – ‘Do It Right’

‘Do It Right’ is the new single from Nuela Charles. Speaking about the track, she said: “This song came out of a session in LA with Grammy-nominated producer/writer Rob Kleiner. We were striving to create an upbeat, snappy tune with some attitude. “Do It Right” is a little bit cheeky, and basically says “if you’re gonna do it, better do it right.” So if you’re gonna try and step to me, step correctly.” Alongside the release of her new single, Nuela’s sophomore record, The Grand Hustle, is among the 2018 JUNO Awards nominees for Adult Contemporary Album of the Year.

FF5 – El Compadre EP

El Compadre is the new EP from twin brother pop duo Jacob and Joshua Olds aka FF5. The EP is made up of seven tracks: ‘Out of This World’, ‘Sweatband’, ‘Fire on the Highway’, ‘Nearsighted’, ‘Stardust’, ‘Tiger Night’ and bonus track ‘This is My Year’ – Matoma Remix. Speaking about the EP and the new era of FF5, Jacob said: “We set out on this journey to write something that would allow the music to speak for itself and stand alone. We embraced the beauty in mistakes and all the uphill battles we had to fight throughout our career. The music has a different energy than any other music we’ve ever put out.”

Molly Moore – ‘Tough Love’

‘Tough Love’ is the new single from Molly Moore, taken from her forthcoming EP Third Eye High. Speaking about her new project, Molly, who is a solo artist and one half of indie-electro duo Cosmos & Creature, said: “I’m nowhere close to perfect and I’m learning about myself every day, that’s also a large part of what I write about. Self reflection can be hard, especially in a time when everyone wants to filter the best part of their story/image forward, but I try and find power in confronting the less comfortable things. Dealing with human emotions isn’t always easy but I do think that we innately want to help each other. I want my music to leave people with hope amidst the ‘reality’ we are faced with.”

Bishop Nehru – ‘Up Up and Away’

Following the release of his video for the MF DOOM-produced single ‘Rooftops’, Bishop Nehru is back with a new track called ‘Up Up and Away’, taken from his forthcoming album Elevators. The track, which features LION BABE alongside production from Kaytranada, made its debut as Zane Lowe’s World Record on Beats 1 on Apple Music. Bishop has also confirmed two headlining shows that will follow the release of Elevators. On April 10 he will perform at the Echoplex in Los Angeles, and on April 19 he will play Mercury Lounge in New York.
